According to the public relations office of the university: The glorious celebration of the liberation of Khorramshahr was held with the presence of the president of Qom University of Technology, the father of martyr Samanlou from the defenders of the shrine, staff, and students in the conference hall of martyr Akhoondi at this university.

At the beginning of this ceremony, Dr. Khoshnovisan, the president of the university, welcomed the attendees, especially the father of martyr Samanlou, and regarded the liberation of Khorramshahr as a symbol of national unity and having a great and insightful leadership.

He added: The memories of that period are unforgettable. At that time, I was active in Kerman due to my responsibilities in the IRGC and had arranged with my friends to delegate our responsibilities and go to Khorramshahr. At that moment, no one thought about whether they were from the north or the south; back then, Khorramshahr was the heart of Iran, and everyone sacrificed their lives for its liberation. This national unity allowed the Iranian people, with minimal military equipment, to prevail against the Ba'ath regime, which was effectively supported financially and militarily by Iran's enemies.
Subsequently, the father of martyr Samanlou, one of the defenders of the shrine, expressed his gratitude for the attention of officials and students in preserving the memory of this eternal martyr and shared memories of martyr Saeed Samanlou.
He said: After some time had passed since the martyrdom of my son Saeed, we found a photo from his thirteenth year, on the back of which he had written that this photo belongs to the junior high school period of martyr Saeed Samanlou.
The father of martyr Samanlou added: Saeed had found his path since his teenage years. His entire effort was to avoid sin in life. Even if he did commit a minor sin, he would cry and plead so much until he received forgiveness from Almighty God.
He noted: All of us believe that martyrdom is a lofty stage in the evolution of humanity, but Saeed, after attending classes on the mystical teachings of scholars, said: attaining pure divine mysticism is the ultimate perfection, and martyrdom is somewhat a complement to that.
At the end, Professor Moradi, one of the faculty members at Qom University of Technology who was present in Khorramshahr during those days, regarded June 3rd as one of the greatest national and patriotic events for us Iranians and added: This day belongs to all Iranians and should not be viewed through a factional or political lens. We, who were present in Khorramshahr at that time, felt the selflessness of the martyrs and the veterans with all our being. Today, many years have passed since the liberation of Khorramshahr, and Khorramshahr has remained free forever, and the people returned to their normal and daily lives. However, many veterans still suffer from chemical problems, mental health issues, and illnesses that they carry from the war era; they can’t even continue with their daily lives for a moment. These dear individuals have placed a significant debt on each of us.
