According to the public relations office of the university, a patent registration certificate for a portable electromechanical fitness device developed by Dr. Meysam Yadgar, a faculty member of the Electrical Engineering Department at Qom University of Technology, and a student team has been issued. This innovative and knowledge-based product in the field of sports and health was designed in the Advanced Control Systems Laboratory (ACSL). Dr. Meysam Yadgar, a faculty member at Qom University of Technology and the designer of this product, stated: This product is a new generation of fitness devices that operates using electromechanical power. The faculty member continued: Among the features of this device are its lighter weight compared to previous models, the ability to continuously adjust the applied weight, a graphical user interface, the capability to customize training profiles based on the athlete's needs, an adjustable range of motion, automatic start, and performance reporting for athletes. He explained that this creative idea has the potential to be generalized to all fitness machines; however, for the prototype, a bicep curl machine has been implemented.
