Holding the Seventh Continuing Education Course for Faculty Members of Qom University of Technology

According to the public relations office of the university: The seventh round of faculty enhancement for the academic staff of Qom University of Technology was held on the theme of revolutionary appearance and essence, with the presence of Dr. Abdolwahab Farati, a faculty member of the Research Institute of Islamic Sciences and Culture.
In this session, Dr. Rezai Nour, the president of Qom University of Technology, welcomed Dr. Farati and the faculty members, mentioning the decade of insight.
He regarded the month of Dey as one of the most tumultuous months in the events leading to the glorious victory of the Islamic Revolution, adding: on December 16, 1978, the publication of a derogatory article about Imam Khomeini (RA) titled "Iran: Red and Black Colonialism" by Ahmad Rashidi Matlaq ignited the sparks of revolution and ultimately led to its victory.
He stated: December 17, 1935, is reminiscent of significant events. Amanullah Khan, Reza Khan, and Atatürk were commissioned by colonialists to dismantle the veil in Afghanistan, Iran, and Turkey, which thankfully failed in Iran due to the wisdom of religious leaders and the prudence of the people.
Dr. Rezai Nour, referencing the statements of the Supreme Leader (may his shade be prolonged) who says: "Wherever you are, consider that your place is the center of the world," noted: It doesn't matter where we are in Iran or in what position we hold; what is important is that wherever we are, we should strive to perform our best. Considering that 40 years have passed since the glorious victory of the Islamic Revolution, to assess it, we must first evaluate ourselves. We should address our shortcomings and deficiencies, and only then can the gradual advancement of the country and the Islamic Revolution be certain and inevitable.
The president of Qom University of Technology added: Due to the imposed war and sanctions, we must promote a mindset of progress and improvement within society. In this context, we need to detach ourselves from the routine of daily life. My goal at Qom University of Technology is to foster a creative and distinct institution on a national and international level, free from the monotony of academic life.
Hojjatoleslam and Muslimin Dr. Ghorbani Mobin, the head of the Office of the Representative of the Supreme Leader at Qom University of Technology, stated: Faculty members of technical universities, due to their technical and engineering knowledge, tend to be more analytical and have a more precise view of issues. The expectation of the people and authorities from you, the faculty, is to take an engineering perspective on the nation's problems so that we can solve the country’s issues ourselves.
He emphasized the pivotal role of faculty in society, saying: In the Islamic Iran, our educators must have a proper analysis of religious thought and Islamic ideology so that they can be good guides for students with maturity and completeness.
Hojjatoleslam and Muslimin Dr. Ghorbani added: Given the teaching and research responsibilities, faculty members may have little time for auxiliary studies; therefore, the office of the Supreme Leader has paid special attention to organizing enhancement courses, which fortunately have also been welcomed by faculty members, and I have personally witnessed the positive impacts of these courses in universities.
It is worth mentioning that this program focused on the relationship between religion and democracy in the ideology of the Islamic Revolution, the fabric of government (religious or secular) in the ideology of the Islamic Revolution, and the current challenges facing the Revolution, was held over two days on December 16th and 17th with the maximum presence of faculty members in the conference hall of the Faculty of Technical and Engineering.
