According to the Public Relations Office of Qom University of Technology, the second session of the Cultural Council of Qom University of Technology was held virtually with the presence of council members, during which overarching cultural policy making was discussed. In the continuation of this session, cultural requests from student organizations and cultural associations were addressed, and the following items were approved. During this meeting, a report was presented on the most important cultural activities at the university, conducted by the Cultural Management and Islamic associations, including cultural associations and scientific societies, which have taken place virtually. Approximately 40 activities have been conducted so far, with the student mobilization officer providing a report on the health jihad camp organized by the university.
He continued: Since mid-March of last year, in response to the needs of the country, students involved in jihad have begun producing masks and nursing uniforms, which have been distributed in underprivileged areas of the province.
Additionally, he stated that cultural requests had been reviewed and 10 new virtual cultural activities were approved. Among these activities are programs for interpreting the Quran online, Quran and Nahj al-Balagha competitions, the Mahdavi Advocacy campaign, a virtual training course titled "The Gem of Creation," a reading competition on the theme of "The Midnight Dream" in the field of Mahdism, the continuation of the health jihad camp organized by the Al-Tah group, and special programs for the blessed month of Ramadan, including Quran and Nahj al-Balagha interpretation, accompanied by competitions and training for reading the Holy Quran, conducted with the efforts of the university's leadership institution, and educational programs under the title of "Engineering Communication" by the Health Supporters Association, along with a student podcast on combating COVID-19 organized by the Young Designers Association, which will be held virtually.
At the end of this session, Dr. Rezaei Nour, the head of the university's Cultural Council, expressed special thanks to cultural activists and student jihadists for their contributions, emphasizing the importance of maximum student participation in cultural programs. He stated: "The cultural priorities that meet today's needs of students must be supported by the university as soon as possible, and various student requests should be addressed with proper flexibility within the framework of the university's educational regulations."
