The first Engineering Path meeting was held at Qom University of Technology.

According to the public relations of the university, the first engineering pathway meeting was held with the presence of Dr. Jalal Rezaei Nour, the President of Qom University of Technology, and Dr. Saeed Montazeri, the President of the National Elite Foundation of Qom, in the Shaheed Akhundi Conference Hall of the university. In this seminar, which was organized in cooperation with the Revival Center and the Scientific Associations of Engineering Physics, Energy Engineering, and Polymer Engineering, Dr. Rezaei Nour welcomed the newly admitted students, stating: "Considering the agility and ongoing development of this university, a research and investigative environment is available for students." He added that students and faculty have made good use of this opportunity; for instance, the implementation of the Industry Helper and Skill Enhancement programs at this university has excelled in the employment sector. He further noted: "Currently, the Growth Center, Innovation Center, and Research Center of Qom University of Technology will provide special support to researchers and enthusiasts not only at the university level but also at the provincial level to fulfill its mission effectively." Subsequently, Dr. Saeed Montazeri, the President of the Elite Foundation of Qom Province, acknowledged the effective support of the officials at Qom University of Technology and added: "With the rankings it has achieved in regards to employment, Qom University of Technology is considered one of the strengths of Qom Province and is therefore one of the leading universities in the country." He explained the establishment of the National Elite Foundation in the country, stating: "In light of the Supreme Leader's emphasis on the correct and appropriate use of the scientific capacities of elites for the development of the country and the necessity for a revolutionary movement towards overcoming the barriers and challenges of knowledge production and the Software Movement in October 2004, the National Elite Foundation was established."
The President of the Elite Foundation of Qom Province added: "The goal of establishing the foundation is to plan and strategize for identifying, guiding, materially and spiritually supporting elites, attracting, retaining, employing, and backing them to enhance the production of science, technology, and balanced scientific development in the country and to achieve a superior scientific, technological, and economic position in the region." Dr. Saeed Montazeri continued: "One of the foundation's initiatives is the Shahid Ahmadie Roshani program, which started in 2017 at the National Elite Foundation. In this program, an elite core is formed to utilize the facilities provided to them for their activities."
