Scientific visit of students from Qom University of Technology to the 10 MW Ghadeer Solar Power Plant.

According to the university's public relations: Master's degree students in the field of electrical power visited the 10 MW Ghadir power plant with the aim of enhancing their academic knowledge.
The 10 MW Ghadir solar power plant, covering an area of 20 hectares, was inaugurated and became operational in 2018 in the Kuh Sefid region of Qom. This power plant is equipped with over 37,000 polycrystalline solar panels, and an investment of 10 million euros was made for this project, established under a guaranteed electricity purchase agreement for a duration of 20 years.
This power plant is the largest solar power facility in Qom province and the second largest solar power plant in the country, featuring solar tracking systems.
It is worth mentioning that due to the climatic conditions of Qom province, the power generation from this power plant never reaches zero, and the use of this solar power plant has released 50 percent of the capacity of the regional mobile substation.
