The superiority of nations over one another is based on knowledge. The representative of the people of Qom in the Islamic Consultative Assembly stated: The enemy's orientation towards us is due to knowledge because they fear our nuclear advancements. They claim if nuclear energy expands in Iran, they can dominate all countries of the world. He added: The missile operation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps was rightfully a truthful promise that showcased Iran's power even more to the world. Hojjatoleslam and Muslims Dr. Ravanbakhsh said: After the IRGC's missile operation, many feared that Israel would attack Iran, but those aware of Iran's power and authority did not make such a strategic mistake. He continued: Today, the holy city of Qom is not only a center of knowledge and ijtihad but, with the existence of industrial parks and zones in this province, has become a hub of industry in the country. Dr. Ravanbakhsh said: Qom University of Technology, with its advancements, can pave the way for the growth and prosperity of the industry in this province with even more support from provincial and national authorities.
Furthermore, Dr. Rezai Nour, the president of Qom University of Technology, welcomed Dr. Ravanbakhsh and highlighted the advancements of Qom University of Technology. He stated: The university has made a 22-rank improvement among universities in the country in 1402, entered the Scimago international ranking system in 1402, achieved first to third positions in the country for the employment of undergraduate graduates over the years 1399 to 1402, third rank in cultural activities per capita and fourth rank in total cultural activities in 1402, fourth rank in holding specialized courses and fifth rank in conducting skill training courses in 1402, eighth rank in holding specialized conferences and joint university events with industries and executive organizations, third and sixth ranks in community and industry study opportunities in 1401 and 1402, respectively, launched a growth center under the Qom Science and Technology Park in 1402, and has over 20 growth centers and technological units in the technology ecosystem. The inclusion of Qom University of Technology in the Scimago ranking system and the indexing of its journal of Mathematics and Computational Sciences in Scopus are parts of the remarkable progress of this university, achievable through the round-the-clock efforts and teamwork of the professors.
Dr. Rezai Nour stated: Today, the source of societal transformations comes from universities and academics. For example, the support of American and European academics for the helpless people of Gaza demonstrates this truth. Of course, academics from Qom University of Technology also defended them through statements and gatherings. In the end, Dr. Majid Mohammadi and Dr. Mohsen Mohammadi were honored as the educational leaders of the university. Dr. Hamid Reza Bahrami was acknowledged as the distinguished professor of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Dr. Abdolreza Karimi as the distinguished professor of the Faculty of Technical and Engineering Sciences, Dr. Morteza Mahjil as the distinguished professor of the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Dr. Seyed Mohammad Ali Al Omrani Najad as the distinguished professor of independent groups. Dr. Meysam Yadegari was recognized for nurturing students through the formation of a student nucleus, Dr. Jafar Ghanbari as a faculty member with the best completed industry-related research project, Dr. Hadi Ziyani as the faculty member with the highest non-self citations of articles published in the name of the university in the last calendar year based on Scopus data, Dr. Khadijeh Rabiei as the faculty member with the article named after Qom University of Technology with the highest number of non-self citations in the last calendar year, Dr. Saeed Hassanzadeh as the faculty member with an article superior to the IF/MIF published last year, and Dr. Ehsan Heydarian Foroshani as the member with the most international participation in published articles were acknowledged. Additionally, Dr. Hamid Karimi was honored as a guest faculty member with a research paper published with the institutional affiliation of Qom University of Technology, Engineer Maryam Al-Sadat Seyed Razavi as the distinguished guest faculty member of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Engineer Amir Hossein Khalili Tirandaz as the distinguished guest faculty member of the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Engineer Abbas Dalir as the distinguished guest faculty member of the Faculty of Technical and Engineering Sciences, and Engineer Mojgan Baghai Barzabadi as the distinguished guest faculty member of the Educational and Research Department.
