According to the Public Relations Office of the university: Dr. Gholamreza Ghafari, the cultural vice minister of science, research, and technology, visited Qom University of Industry and met with the board of trustees and active cultural students, thanks to the efforts of the Islamic Students Association of this university.

During the meeting with the university's board of trustees, Dr. Ghafari considered interaction among universities in Qom province to be important and essential, adding that Qom University of Industry has a very favorable administrative organization given the number of students, faculty members, and staff.
He mentioned the various intellectual currents within the university, stating that the university encompasses a diverse range of thoughts and beliefs. Additionally, subcultures are evidently and subtly creating contradictions. Therefore, through cooperation, empathy, and unity, differences can be brought closer to similarities.

The cultural deputy of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology emphasized that student organization activities are voluntary and cannot be strictly structured. Firstly, organizations must learn to remain loyal to their charter, and if they deviate from the charter or face problems in their programs, the law serves as the best source for addressing their shortcomings.
After the meeting with the board of trustees, Dr. Ghafari met with active cultural students, who shared their suggestions, viewpoints, and criticisms with the cultural deputy of the ministry.
Subsequently, in the presence of Dr. Ghafari, officials, professors, staff, and students, the performance and policies of the Ministry of Science in the cultural domain were discussed in the Shahid Akhoundi Conference Hall at the university.

In this conference, Dr. Ghafari articulated the fundamental cultural values at the ministry. He stated that the determination of religious beliefs, adherence to the law, protection of academic freedom, and the strengthening of cultural, ethical, and social capital are among the fundamental cultural values at the ministry.
The cultural deputy of the ministry regarded a thriving university as one where everyone participates. He noted: "In a thriving university, critiques can exist, but they must be knowledgeable, fair, and realistic, contributing to the growth and elevation of the university and its scholars."

He added that a successful university is one that enhances not only the academic and research growth but also the political and cultural development of its students. Achieving this goal will not be possible without utilizing the insights and plans from experts and specialists in this field.
