According to the Public Relations of the university, the boys' table tennis team of Qom University of Technology achieved first place in the individual events and second place in the team events at the regional championships for students in region 4 of the country. This tournament featured universities including Imam Khomeini University of Qazvin, Bu-Ali Sina University, Arak University, Malayer University, Qom University of Technology, Qom, Shahab Danesh University, Ma'arif University, and Mofid University. In the team competition, the teams from Qom University of Technology and Bu-Ali Sina University advanced to the finals after defeating their rivals. Ultimately, Bu-Ali Sina University won the championship with a score of two to three, while Qom University of Technology secured the runner-up position. In the individual category, Ali Akhavan from Qom University of Technology dominated all his competitors and became the champion of this tournament.
