Announcement from the Educational and Research Department of the University Regarding the Final Exams of Semester 1-1399

Wishing success to all dear students in their final exams, attention is drawn to the following points for holding the exams more effectively:
  1. The final exams will be held remotely and via the university's virtual education system according to the schedule announced in the students' unit confirmation form.
  2. While respecting the requests of new students regarding the rescheduling of their exam times, considering the participation of previous cohorts in these students' classes and the potential overlap of their exams, changing the exam schedule is not possible. Furthermore, considering that, in the educational planning of the current semester, the maximum delay in the start of exams has been taken into account, and for suitable scheduling of the next semester, it is not possible to change the timing of all exams as well.
  3. Given that the weight of the final exam in determining students' final grades has decreased compared to previous years, and considering the measures taken by respected professors to reduce anxiety under current conditions and to appropriately distribute the evaluation criteria among students in various exams, there is no reason for students to be worried.
  4. Professors may use oral exams as part of their evaluations at their discretion, in addition to the written exam based on the virtual education system, which will be conducted on the specified date. This exam and its timing will be announced by the course instructor and will be conducted in the virtual class environments of Adobe Connect or BigBlueButton. Therefore, it is essential for students to ensure the proper functioning of their microphones and webcams.
  5. Please bring enough blank sheets to answer the essay questions. To create a suitable file for uploading to the system, use scanner apps. These apps adjust the image settings for better readability of the text and prepare the final file in PDF format. You can download some of these apps based on your phone's operating system from the following links:

  6. Students are requested to use mobile internet packages as a backup in case of possible disruptions to home internet, in addition to their home internet, to prevent interruptions during the exams.
  7. It is recommended that you make necessary preparations, including ensuring your laptop has sufficient battery charge and that your mobile data is active, so that in case of potential power outages, there are no issues during the exam.
  8. The method of defining questions may vary by course instructor, but generally, it is assumed that the questions displayed to you will be randomly selected from a question bank defined by the instructor. In this case, to avoid disruption to the questions, you can enter the exam only once. Therefore, please ensure that you do not close or refresh your browser page at any time, as due to the one-time entry restriction, you will not be allowed to re-enter and upload your answers.
  9. It is strongly recommended to avoid using your mobile phone to enter the exam. The phone's operating system typically closes applications and browser pages to manage phone memory. Given this point, you may lose the ability to upload your answers.
  10. All exams are timed, and once the time defined by the instructor has ended, the exam will be closed and the ability to upload answers will be lost. Therefore, it is strongly recommended that you scan and upload your answers at least 15 minutes before the end of the exam time.
  11. Again, it is advised not to postpone uploading your answers until the last minutes, as due to high demand and many students trying to upload files simultaneously, the server may encounter issues and may not successfully register your file.
  12. After the exam ends, make sure to click the "Submit all answers and finish the exam" button so that your answers can be reviewed by the instructor.
  13. All dear students are requested to maintain academic integrity when responding to questions, with some points as follows:
    1. Do not help others, nor seek help from others.
    2. Keep your answers confidential and do not share them with others.
    3. Do not publish questions or answers in virtual groups.
    4. Do not use software that is explicitly prohibited during the exam.
  14. It should be noted that in the event of a violation of the above points, the matter will be referred to the Student Disciplinary Committee as instances of cheating in the exam.
Wishing health and success to all dear ones
