According to the public relations office of the university: During the eighth Industry-University Relations Committee hosted by Qom Industrial University, with the presence of the Governor and the presidents of universities in Qom, an electronic service desk and a startup empowerment club (Beta) were inaugurated at this university.
With the presence of the Governor and the presidents of universities in Qom, the electronic service desk of Qom Industrial University was opened, and this university has joined the electronic, paperless university club in line with the implementation of resistant economy.
Additionally, the first startup empowerment club (Beta) was unveiled with the goal of playing a role in the development of the province's industry. This club provides a collaborative workspace, training, consulting, mentoring, initial investment, and managerial, legal, financial, and credit services to foster the growth and advancement of technology-based units.
Following this, the eighth Industry-University Relations Committee of the province was held at Qom Industrial University. The Governor of Qom then emphasized the responsibility of managers for the comprehensive development of Qom province during a meeting of the provincial industry-university relations working group, stating: A systemic outlook and scientific management are essential for achieving progress indicators.
He considered strengthening the connection between industry and university and making knowledge applicable to be vital, adding: Executives, university professors, and industrialists often see themselves as independent of one another, and the connection between them should be reinforced.
The Governor highlighted the establishment of a communication office between the governor's office and universities at the governor's office in Qom and specified: Forming a think tank between universities and the governor's office to utilize their scientific and research capacities has been put on the agenda.
The high-ranking government official in the province stated: We initiated the "Each University a Project" plan three months ago, hoping for greater acceptance from universities.
He added: Universities must actively participate in various working groups based on their missions and assist provincial management in advancing goals and programs in areas such as construction, economy, and health care.
The Governor of Qom also mentioned that field visits to universities in Qom province and industrial units are on the agenda, stating: To advance the province's programs, the connection between industry and university must also be strengthened, and research papers and university theses in the province should be written based on the real needs of industrial units.
The president of Qom Industrial University, while introducing the university, pointed out the capacities of this institution. He regarded the selection of Qom Industrial University as the secretariat for nanotechnology and the provincial working group on industry relations as indicative of this university's crucial responsibility in the growth of the province's industry, adding: The design and implementation of the industry assistance plan for the first time in the country aimed at job creation and boosting production, as well as establishing the first innovation center in the region of Higher Education Area 4, are among the notable capabilities of Qom Industrial University.
Rezaei Noor considered the communication between industry and university to be very important in enhancing production, especially during sanctions, and identified recognizing the problems of industries in the province as well as creating a system for industry-university communication (Industry Café) for direct and unmediated connections between industrialists and university professors as some of the specific actions of the university aimed at fostering industry-university relations.
