According to the public relations of Qom University of Technology, Dr. Jalal Rezaei Nour, the president of the university, expressed his gratitude to all faculty members, assistants, managers, and students for their efforts during a gathering of academics, highlighting the university's outstanding achievements in the year 1403.
He stated that this year, despite budgetary and property restrictions, has been a year of honor for Qom University of Technology, announcing the main achievements of the university as follows:
✅ Acquisition of a 5,000-square-meter property for building a student residence and commencement of its execution operations
✅ Launching a wastewater treatment plant for the university after 17 years, with a capacity of 50 cubic meters, to return wastewater to the consumption cycle for irrigation of green spaces
✅ Admission of students at the doctoral level in Industrial Engineering
✅ Obtaining permission for admitting students at the doctoral level in Computer Engineering
✅ Obtaining permission for admitting students at the doctoral level in Electrical Engineering - Power
✅ Renewal of admission permission for students at the doctoral level in Mechanical Engineering
✅ Promotion of 11 faculty members to the rank of associate professorship and higher and a 15% adjustment of the faculty pyramid of the university
✅ Successfully organizing 3 titles of national and international reputable conferences: the Eighth Conference on Mathematical Physics of Iran, the Third Conference on Smart Materials and Structures, the Twelfth Conference on Renewable Energies
✅ Achieving excellence for the fourth consecutive year in conducting vocational training courses, securing the eighth national rank in organizing vocational training courses and the eighth and tenth national ranks in holding general and specialized courses
✅ Achieving excellence for the fourth consecutive year in the employment sector of bachelor’s degree graduates with a 93% employment rate
✅ Achieving excellence for the fourth consecutive year in the employment sector of master's degree graduates with a 92% employment rate
✅ Placement of two faculty members of the university on the list of the top 2% most cited scientists in the world (according to Stanford University report): Dr. Hadi Zayani and Dr. Mehdi Karimi
