According to the Public Relations of Qom Industrial University, a cordial meeting was held with the presence of the university president and the manager of the combined cycle power plant of Qom Province, Dr. Ebrahim Vanki Farahani, to discuss and develop bilateral cooperation. The meeting aimed to create common grounds for conducting industrial tours, identifying research projects, and recognizing industry needs and addressing them using the university's internal capabilities.
In this meeting, Dr. Rezaei Noor emphasized the importance of cooperation between industry and academia, stating that such collaborations can significantly contribute to the scientific and practical advancement of both institutions. He also highlighted the necessity of forming technology hubs with the participation of both organizations and stressed the need to identify and meet industry requirements through the capabilities of students and faculty members of the university.
The manager of the combined cycle power plant of Qom Province also expressed satisfaction with these collaborations during the meeting, underscoring the university's role in providing skilled and efficient human resources for the industry, and announced the power plant's readiness to collaborate on research and educational projects.
This meeting was held to examine and strengthen bilateral cooperation concerning research projects and to investigate the existing challenges in the maintenance and repair of generators and power transformers. Additionally, the necessary potentials for advancing related research projects and addressing existing challenges in these areas were discussed.
The manager of the combined cycle power plant of Qom Province, expressing satisfaction with previous collaborations with the university collective, emphasized the importance of effective and close communication between industry and academia and called for the creation of joint plans to solve operational issues and enhance service quality at the power plant.
