According to the public relations office of Qom University of Technology, the president of Qom University of Technology, along with the head of the Office of the Supreme Leader's Representative at the university, met and discussed with Hojjatoleslam Dr. Va'ezi, the head of the Islamic Advertising Office of Qom's seminary.
In this meeting, Dr. Jalal Rezai Noor, president of Qom University of Technology, presented a report on the achievements and activities of the university, stating:
«Qom University of Technology has been able to achieve significant success in employing graduates of bachelor's and master's degrees.»
He referred to the university's cultural activities, adding: «This university has succeeded in ranking second in per capita cultural activities in the country over the past year and this year.»
Dr. Rezai Noor further emphasized: «Qom University of Technology, with about 2000 students at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels, is currently operational and has obtained permission to enroll international students since 2021. Currently, over 300 students from five different nationalities are studying at the university.»
He also announced the establishment of a 360-degree evaluation system at the university, stating: «This comprehensive evaluation system is the basis for the growth and development of the university.»
Furthermore, Hojjatoleslam Dr. Ghorbani Mobin, the head of the Supreme Leader's Representative at the university, pointed to the cultural programs and actions of the institution within the university, stating:
«The continuous improvement cycle is being pursued in the form of a cultural engineering plan at Qom University of Technology. This cycle includes five stages: problem diagnosis, planning, execution, control, and corrective action, with the problem diagnosis stages being carried out through the university's cultural council, the office of the Supreme Leader's Representative, and the counseling center.»
He also announced the establishment of the Sayyid al-Shuhada Camp in the city of Karbala and the shrine of Hazrat Masoumeh (PBUH) in Qom.
In conclusion, Hojjatoleslam Dr. Va'ezi, the head of the Islamic Advertising Office of Qom's seminary, expressed satisfaction with the achievements and activities of Qom University of Technology, stating:
«Valuable activities have taken place at this university, and this center is ready to cooperate in various fields with Qom University of Technology.»
He referred to some of the major management programs and activities of the Islamic Advertising Office, including a problem-oriented approach, performance-based budgeting, and operational evaluation at the Islamic Advertising Office and its subsidiaries, and provided documents of the executive model in writing. He added: «This center has seven affiliated educational institutes, one of which is the Baqir al-Uloom (PBUH) University.»
Dr. Va'ezi also welcomed the enrollment of international students and emphasized the need to strengthen this area.
This meeting concluded with an emphasis on expanding scientific and cultural cooperation between the two institutions.
