According to the public relations office of Qom University of Technology, the university library has been accepted as a new member of the Council of Scientific Resources of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology. This achievement is considered a significant step towards enhancing scientific and research interactions in the country.
Dr. Heydarian, the head of the Central Library and Information Center of Qom University of Technology, announced this news and stated: «This membership provides a valuable opportunity for Qom University of Technology to play a more active role in the policymaking and planning of scientific resources. In this council, three fundamental missions are focused on aligning universities and scientific institutions to optimize the utilization of scientific resources and improve the effectiveness of the national scientific system.»
The primary mission of the Council of Scientific Resources of the Ministry of Science is as follows:
* Collaboration and coordination in the policymaking and planning of scientific resources, this mission is designed with the aim of selecting, providing, delivering, and accessing foreign scientific resources to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity within the scientific, research, and technological framework of the country.
* Expanding cooperation and sharing scientific resources: In this regard, efforts will be made to facilitate international collaborations and sharing of scientific resources, allowing for the integrated development of scientific resources services within the Ministry of Science.
* Collaboration in providing scientific resources services to other organizations: This mission is designed within the framework of the country's resistant economy policies to also offer scientific resources to other organizations, thereby creating opportunities for collaboration and synergy across all sectors.
Dr. Heydarian further added: «The membership of Qom University of Technology in this council provides suitable opportunities to strengthen the scientific and research infrastructure of the university while simultaneously aiding in the elevation of international scientific collaborations.»
