Dr. Rezai Noor and Hojjatoleslam and the Muslim Dr. Ghorbani Mobeen met with the director general of the provincial broadcasting organization of Qom and referred to the media as a supporter of students and academics.
Dr. Rezai Noor stated that Qom University of Technology, through its scientific, research, and cultural activities, as well as creating a dynamic environment, has transitioned from a local and regional mission to an international mission and has played a significant role in supporting industries and industrial parks in Qom and neighboring provinces by cooperating with knowledge-based companies.
He added that due to its proximity to Tehran province, Qom University of Technology continuously attracts top-tier entrance exam candidates. Additionally, this university has consistently ranked high in student employment for both bachelor's and master's degree levels over the past years.
Dr. Rezai Noor noted that this university has achieved the third highest expenditure per student for cultural activities among 134 public universities in the country.
During this meeting, Hojjatoleslam and Muslim Dr. Ghorbani Mobeen said: While congratulating the appointment of the provincial broadcasting director, Qom University of Technology, due to the youthfulness of its faculty members and academic supporters, has a faster pace of progress compared to other universities. The successes achieved in cultural fields have enabled the university to be recognized, not only in the province but also in the country in this regard. Additionally, its presence in various international platforms has contributed to the growth of its standing among the country's universities.
Dr. Pahlavaniyan, during this meeting, stated that technical and engineering disciplines are essential for the country's needs, emphasizing that the regional media will do their utmost to address the challenges faced by universities, particularly Qom University of Technology, in aiding the advancement of science and culture in the country and province. He also stressed the importance of greater involvement from large companies and the active private sector in the province regarding social responsibility, particularly concerning the transfer of tax accounts to Qom province and participation in the construction activities of educational centers, universities, and research institutes in the province.
