According to the public relations office of the university, Dr. Rezaei Noor, the President, and Hojjatoleslam Valmuslemin Dr. Ghorbani Mobin, the Head of the Representative Office of the Supreme Leader at Qom Industrial University, met and discussed with Ayatollah Rajabi, a member of the Board of Experts and a permanent member of the Board of Trustees of Qom Universities.
In this meeting, Dr. Rezaei Noor referred to the university's recent achievements, including the 22-rank improvement of the university based on the latest ranking by the Islamic World Science Citation Center in 1402, and the attainment of top employment rankings for graduates at the bachelor's and master's levels in the country over the past four years, according to the report from the Ministry of Science’s Office of Industry Relations. He added: Achieving the second national rank in per capita cultural expenditures over the past two years is among the valuable outcomes of this university’s balanced development.
Dr. Rezaei Noor stated that Qom Industrial University is diligently pursuing its responsibilities to assist the industry. Obtaining the fourth rank in conducting specialized courses and the fifth rank in providing skill training courses are important actions of the university in training human resources aligned with the industry's needs. This university is advancing the growth of the province and country’s industry by strengthening the Innovation Center and the Growth Center with 20 knowledge-based cores and technology units, as well as establishing various research centers like Fakhra, Ehyā, Jahesh, and … He added: For several years, Qom Industrial University has been taking significant steps toward playing a role on the international stage through fundamental actions and continuous efforts, supported by officials, such that the university currently has about 300 international students of various nationalities. The university's addition to international ranking systems, obtaining an international indexing for the university's Mathematics and Computational Sciences journal, hosting various scientific conferences and events at the university level, launching various programs from bachelor’s to doctoral levels, acquiring land for dormitory construction, and starting fence construction along with commencing the building of married students' dormitories, are among other actions undertaken by the university in recent years.
Continuing, Hojjatoleslam Valmuslemin Ghorbani Mobin pointed out the special status of the holy city of Qom, stating: In addition to enhancing students' scientific capabilities, the university officials strive to raise faithful and devout engineers through diverse and special religious ceremonies.
Furthermore, Ayatollah Rajabi, while appreciating the efforts of the university officials, remarked: Training committed and specialized youth is one of the key responsibilities of higher education authorities in the country. He expressed hope for the success of the university managers and emphasized the necessity of strengthening the religious beliefs of the youth and striving to achieve the objectives outlined in the second step of the revolution’s statement. He also promised to attend the university and follow up on resolving the university’s issues from the provincial and national authorities.
