The President of Qom Industrial University stated that this academic institution has taken significant steps towards entrepreneurship and employment for its students by enhancing skills and creating a business-friendly environment within the university.
Dr. Jalal Rezayi Noor, on Saturday speaking at the Islamic Republic News Agency in Qom, added that with the collaboration of faculty members, students, and other staff of Qom Industrial University, we will strive to ensure that this academic institution becomes renowned as a model entrepreneurial university in the province and the country by presenting innovative plans and creative ideas.
He stated: We aim to create conditions at Qom Industrial University through the implementation of a strategic program, so that students can be attracted to the job market before graduation due to their acquisition of necessary skills and creative thinking or establish their own knowledge-based companies.
He continued: All professors and students at this university are working to become familiar with the issues and challenges of the industrial sector of the province and the country and to be able to provide practical solutions through scientific projects and teamwork.
Dr. Rezayi Noor said: In this regard, the industrial partnership plan was implemented for the first time in the country by professors and students of Qom Industrial University within the framework of research-oriented teamwork, where student teams visit industrial units in the province to diagnose industrial issues and propose suitable solutions for overcoming production obstacles in Qom.
He referred to other activities of Qom Industrial University in the path of entrepreneurial development and realizing a knowledge-based economy, adding: The university's innovation center also provides material and spiritual support for scientific projects and student inventions, so that these ideas can be transformed into products and offered in financial markets.
He continued: This university, located at the border of industrial and strategic provinces such as Tehran, Markazi, and Isfahan, can significantly influence the growth, advancement, and industrial development of Iran.
Qom Industrial University is one of 23 industrial universities across the country, comprising 57 faculty members and 2,000 students studying in 23 undergraduate and graduate courses in technical, engineering, electrical, computer, and basic sciences disciplines.
