According to the university's public relations, the celebration of the birthday of Lady Zahra (S) and the commemoration of Mother's Day was held in the presence of Dr. Kashanian, one of the successful and brilliant women in the global field of nanoscience and the wife of the martyr Asami, one of the martyrs of the eight-year defense period. In this ceremony, Dr. Kashanian pointed out the position of women in the noble religion of Islam, stating: In Islam, women are presented as exemplars and role models for both men and women. God introduces the wife of Pharaoh and Lady Maryam (S) as models in the Quran. She added: I am a child of the holy city of Qom, holding a master’s degree in physics, a Ph.D. in nanobiotechnology, and a postdoctoral degree in this field. I have successfully made inventions and authored various books, but my greatest honor in life is being a mother to my three daughters. Dr. Kashanian stated: Today, I am the CEO of a company, and my children have not been an obstacle to my progress; rather, the tranquility that family brings to a woman while fulfilling her roles as a wife and mother, and the blessings that Lady Zahra (S) bestow upon our lives, are more influential on our social intelligence. She noted: During my doctoral studies, when God had just gifted me with a child, I had to simultaneously execute an experimental and practical project. Despite my university being located in Tehran, I successfully defended my thesis with four published articles, which astonished my friends. Mrs. Akbari, the wife of martyr Asami, recalled memories of this dear martyr and spoke about the deep love and emotional attachment between her and her husband. She also emphasized martyr Asami’s sensitivity regarding maintaining hijab and chastity. The event included a competition, recitation of religious songs, and honoring student mothers among other programs in this celebration.
