91 percent employment rate of graduates from Qom University of Technology in the Employment Monitoring Project of the year 1400

 
According to the university's public relations office: Dr. Ghanbari, the educational and research deputy of Qom University of Technology, reported a 91% employment rate for graduates of this university in the year 2021.
Dr. Ghanbari stated regarding the presentation of this statistic: According to the statistics provided by 68 universities to the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology, Qom University of Technology has achieved the second rank in employment for undergraduate studies and the ninth rank for graduate studies in the country.
He mentioned that the tracking of graduates' career paths and continuous follow-up was a topic that was previously conducted sporadically in universities until the nationwide employment monitoring plan was launched by the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology. Enrollment in various fields, reviewing educational materials, and providing practical training to students, along with planning and new policy-making in higher education, are among the outcomes of this research project.
The educational and research deputy of Qom University of Technology added: Qom University of Technology has participated in the employment monitoring plan since 2018, and the average employment rates for graduates of this university in previous years have been 72%, 80%, and 82%, respectively, while in the year 2021, the employment rate of graduates reached 90.6%.
He explained: The employment statistics of graduates have been categorized into 7 groups: self-employed, private sector employees, public sector employees, employed in knowledge-based companies, self-employment, military service, currently studying, and unemployed, tracking graduates from October 2016 to September 2017.
Dr. Ghanbari emphasized the necessity of establishing an information and awareness system for stakeholders regarding the employment status of each academic field and stated: The establishment of this system facilitates transparency and awareness for students, who, by monitoring statistics and information concerning educational fields, can reduce the unemployment rate of university graduates by making informed and correct field selections.
The educational and research deputy of Qom University of Technology said: This university is currently developing by conducting skill enhancement courses and pioneering the industry partner scheme for the first time in the country, enabling employment opportunities during studies for students.
Dr. Ghanbari added: One of the goals of Qom University of Technology, as a third-generation university, is entrepreneurship and wealth generation. It is worth mentioning that in this regard, Qom University of Technology, with the support of the Vice Presidency for Science and Technology of the Presidency, has initiated the Beta Innovation Center to support student startups and innovative students.
