According to the public relations office of the university, Dr. Seyed Mohammad Ali Al Omrani Nejad, a professor in the Mathematics Department of Qom University of Technology, announced the creation of a link to the journal "Mathematics and Computational Sciences" of this university in the Scopus database. Dr. Al Omrani Nejad stated that the quarterly journal "Mathematics and Computational Sciences" has been operational since 2020 and has published five issues to date. He added that the articles in this journal cover mathematics, computational sciences, and interdisciplinary fields, and the current acceptance rate for submissions is 40 percent. The editorial board of the journal consists of prominent scholars from various fields of mathematics and sciences from Iran, Italy, Argentina, Mexico, Iceland, India, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, South Africa, and Pakistan. The faculty of the Mathematics Department stated that the publisher of the journal is Qom University of Technology, which has successfully obtained indexing from ISC, Ministry of Science publications, Doja, and Scopus so far. He mentioned that the editor-in-chief of this journal is Dr. Hossein Jafari, a full professor in the Mathematics Department of Mazandaran University, with Dr. Soleimani, a full professor in the Physics Department of Qom University of Technology, serving as the deputy editor. Dr. Al Omrani Nejad expressed that among the future plans for enhancing this journal are applying for evaluation by the ISI Institute and increasing the number of articles in each quarterly issue.
