According to the public relations office of the university: coinciding with the week of Sacred Defense, the board of trustees of Qom Industrial University met and talked with the esteemed families of martyrs and disabled veterans.
In line with honoring the esteemed families of martyrs and disabled veterans as well as renewing the pledge to the ideals of the Great Leader of the Islamic Revolution, the board of trustees of Qom Industrial University visited the family of the esteemed martyr Akbari and the esteemed family of the proud disabled veteran Mohammad Hossein Sadighi.
During this visit, Dr. Rezaei Nour, the president of Qom Industrial University, acknowledged that the comfort and peace enjoyed today by Islamic Iran is owed to the bravery of the martyrs and eight years of Sacred Defense veterans, and he added: our entire effort at Qom Industrial University is to honor the martyrs, veterans, and their esteemed families through our achievements in the fields of science and technology.
He stated that honoring the martyrs, veterans, and freed prisoners is the duty of every Iranian, and expressed: Qom Industrial University has always spared no effort in the pursuit of the dignity of Islamic Iran and considers serving the community, especially the esteemed families of martyrs and veterans, as a source of pride.
The president of Qom Industrial University, while appreciating the sacrifice and valor of the martyrs, veterans, and freed prisoners, added: the purpose of these visits is to honor these great individuals and fulfill our duty toward their sacrifices and selflessness.
It is noteworthy that Gholamhossein Akbari was an outstanding student at school who, in the summer of 1985, after finishing school, went to the battlefields and attained the lofty rank of martyr at the age of 17 during Operation Karbala 5.
Mohammad Hossein Sadighi is a 70% disabled veteran who went to the battlefields in 1983 and was injured in both legs in 1985, achieving the esteemed rank of veteran status.
