According to the university's public relations report; during the introduction session for the new students of Qom University of Technology, which was held virtually thanks to the cultural management, Dr. Rezai Noor, the president of Qom University of Technology, congratulated the new students and said: This year, due to the coronavirus pandemic, we have a very different introduction ceremony, and the circumstances created by the COVID-19 epidemic prevented us from being physically present with you, dear ones. He added regarding the characteristics of Qom University of Technology: Qom University of Technology, as a young and developing university, annually attracts good scores from the national university entrance exam, not only from Qom Province but also from neighboring provinces including Tehran, Isfahan, and Markazi.

He mentioned the honors of Qom University of Technology: The high acceptance rates of students from this university in graduate programs and the numerous achievements of these students in national and regional competitions reflect the determination, resolve, and capabilities of the students at Qom University of Technology.
The president of Qom University of Technology stated: The 80% employability rate of the university's graduates after completing their studies is very significant, and this success is the result of various university initiatives aimed at connecting students with industry during their studies, including the Industry Assistant Program. In this program, students, with the help of their experienced professors, enter the industry and identify the problems faced by the provincial industry through teamwork, employing suitable solutions to address them.

Continuing this virtual program, Dr. Qanbari, the educational and research deputy of the university, mentioned: Due to the conditions created by the coronavirus, classes will be held online, but we have tried to ensure that the quality of education is not compromised.
He added: One of the most important differences between university and high school is research and inquiry in the university. New students can begin their research and studies by joining scientific associations.
