Dr. Hadi Ziyani and Dr. Hamid Karimi, faculty members of the Electrical Engineering Department of this university, have been ranked among the top two percent of scientists globally. To compile the list of outstanding scientists, information about researchers worldwide has been examined across 20 fields and 159 subfields. This ranking considers several criteria, including the publication of at least 5 articles, the number of citations, the number of citations excluding self-citations, the composite index, total references, the number of references in the past year, the number of single-author articles, total references to single-author articles, the ranking of scientists in specialized fields, and the introduction of the authors' specialized field, among others. In the published list based on one-year citation performance in 2024, a total of 2,327 researchers with institutional affiliations in the Islamic Republic of Iran are among the total of 223,152 international researchers.
