 According to the Public Relations Office of the university and as reported by the reputable site top2percentscientists.com, under the Elsevier database, released annually by the researchers of bibliometrics at Stanford University, the names of two faculty members from this university have been included in the list of the top two percent of scientists worldwide. Dr. Hadi Ziyani and Dr. Hamid Karimi, faculty members of the Electrical Engineering Department of this university, have been ranked among the top two percent of scientists globally. To compile the list of outstanding scientists, information about researchers worldwide has been examined across 20 fields and 159 subfields. This ranking considers several criteria, including the publication of at least 5 articles, the number of citations, the number of citations excluding self-citations, the composite index, total references, the number of references in the past year, the number of single-author articles, total references to single-author articles, the ranking of scientists in specialized fields, and the introduction of the authors' specialized field, among others.
