According to the Public Relations Office of the University: Dr. Fadaei, the Vice President for Student Affairs, congratulated the beginning of the new academic year and announced special programs from the Student Affairs Office.
Dr. Fadaei pointed out the relocation of the male students' dormitory from the Shahid Residential Complex located at Kilometer 5 of the Arak Road to the area next to Imam (RA) Square, saying: "Through extensive efforts to enhance the quality of life, reduce costs, and facilitate transportation for students, the dormitories have been moved to the city center, which has improved the per capita physical space and renovated the existing facilities in the male dormitory, along with a 22 percent reduction in the cost of the male dormitory." He also mentioned that despite the girls residing in the same previous dormitory and a 10 percent increase in the dormitory rent, their tuition fees have not increased.
The Vice President for Student Affairs at Qom University of Technology added: "Among the programs of the Student Affairs Office for the new year are the enhancement of cultural, religious, and physical and mental health programs. For the first time at the university, a four-year strategic plan for the Counseling Center is being developed, and God willing, with the establishment of counseling rooms in the dormitories and the presence of experienced counselors, we will have a stronger Counseling Center. Regarding religious and cultural programs, considering the dormitories' location in the city center and the close collaboration with the Office of the Supreme Leader and the cultural management of the university, we will achieve this goal with the presence of religious propagators, group prayers, and special cultural events in the female and male dormitories."
He emphasized: "With the measures taken, the quality of students' nutrition has improved, and Qom University of Technology is one of the few universities that, in the new academic year, will use Iranian rice for cooking students' meals. Furthermore, to enhance the convenience of students, transportation services have been improved in terms of both quantity and quality."
Dr. Fadaei mentioned: "Through negotiations, the costs of copying and other publishing services have been reduced, and we have special provisions for graduate students in mind."
In conclusion, Dr. Fadaei stated: "The implementation of these programs has been made possible through the support and collaboration of various university units, including the Administrative and Financial Vice Presidency, the Educational and Research Vice Presidency, the Cultural Management, the Security Management, and especially the unwavering support of Dr. Khoshnavisan, the esteemed President of the University."
