The second round of the Professors' Thought Feast program at Qom University of Technology, focused on Islamic education and training.

According to the public relations department of the university: The second round of the Faculty Thought Feast program on Islamic education was held with the participation of more than 40 faculty members of the university from 17/3/94 to 19/3/94 in Mashhad Ardahal.
At the opening of this ceremony, Mr. Hojjatoleslam Vahdatzadeh, the representative of the Supreme Leader in Qom University of Technology, welcomed the faculty members and evaluated the holding of such courses as positively contributing to the success of educators in impacting students more effectively. He noted that such courses help educators utilize the sacred teachings of Islam in their classrooms, thus enhancing their professional development.
Professor Banari, one of the guest instructors, began by defining Islamic education and added: The purposeful and mutual interaction between the educator and the learner must be based on the worldview and value system of Islam.
He outlined six important distinctions between education in the Islamic school of thought and education in other schools, which are as follows: 1- The perspective on existence differs from other schools, 2- God is the center of Islamic education, 3- The view on humanity differs from other schools, 4- Islamic educational resources are not limited to reason and experience; they also draw from revelation and the traditions of the Prophet and the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them), 5- It has stable foundations and principles, which fosters assurance, 6- It benefits from transcendent factors like divine assistance and also considers non-material obstacles such as Satan.
Professor Banari continued by referring to the educational role of the instructor (the hidden curriculum of the teacher in the educational system), principles of Islamic education, and methods of Islamic pedagogy, emphasizing the introduction of models, strengthening self-belief, and motivation as the most important factors for better educator-student interaction.
Dr. Khoshnavisan, the head of Qom University of Technology, also expressed his satisfaction regarding the organization of such programs while addressing the faculty. He stated: We must strive to ensure that our efforts yield positive impacts on the students. Now, thanks to God, we are witnessing a completely amicable environment among the faculty and officials of the university; it is hoped that with the efforts and determination of university officials and the cooperation of all faculty members, we will witness progress at the university.
The ceremony concluded with answers to the faculty's questions and discussions, as well as the distribution of cultural packages.
It is worth mentioning that, considering the presence of the family members of the instructors, useful classes and programs, including sports competitions and informative classes, were also held for the spouses and children of the faculty members.
