 According to the university's public relations office, a faculty development course on foreign policy was held for two days in the Shahid Akhundi Hall at Qom University of Technology, thanks to the office of the supreme leader's representative at the university, with the presence of Dr. Sadegh Koushki, a prominent professor of political science in the country. This course addressed the necessity of educating a public perspective on politics, the importance of the sea and maritime trade in the world, the introduction of the most important waterways globally, examining the economy and foreign policy of Persian Gulf shoreline countries, methods of determining maritime borders, the economic and military significance of the three islands, the history and formation of the countries along the southern coast of the Persian Gulf, the importance of the Persian Gulf and its resources in the global economy, the examination of border disputes in the Caspian Sea, and the role of the Caspian Sea in oil and gas trade.
