According to the university's public relations office, the Research Center for Innovation has commenced operations at the university in collaboration with jointly invested private industries, focusing on fields such as electrical engineering, telecommunications, signal processing, artificial intelligence, and more. This research center, comprised of representatives from the relevant industries and the university, is established to foster direct and increased communication between industry and academia. Among the objectives of this research center are to steer university projects towards need-based initiatives, prepare students for entering the job market, organize or support scientific conferences and workshops, and oversee their successful implementation, as well as to create and deepen scientific and research connections with institutions and research centers both domestically and internationally.
It is noteworthy that upon its launch, three research teams in the areas of control systems, signal processing, software, and artificial intelligence, with the guidance of esteemed professors, have begun their activities within the framework of the Innovation Research Unit. These teams are focused on addressing key industrial and technological challenges, seeking to offer innovative solutions and strengthen the connection between academia and industry.
