According to the public relations department of the university, a meeting of faculty members was held, featuring Hojjatoleslam Dr. Hossein Javanarasteh, a professor from the Research Institute of the Seminary and University, in the Faculty of Engineering. In this session, Hojjatoleslam Dr. Javanarasteh discussed the theory of both appointive and elective leadership, the duties of the Assembly of Experts, the structure of oversight the Assembly of Experts has over leadership, the process of evaluating the qualifications of candidates for the Assembly of Experts, and the challenges associated with it. He also raised concerns about the potential creation of an infinite regress in the oversight duties of the experts. At the end of the session, attendees engaged in discussions about the Assembly of Experts, its foundations, necessities, and challenges.
