According to the public relations office of the university, coinciding with the fourth day of the celebration of the Fajr decade of the Islamic Revolution, a ceremony for renewing the commitment of the academic community of Qom University and other universities with the ideals of the Islamic Revolution and Imam Khomeini (RA), as well as a pledge to the Supreme Leader, was held at the holy shrine of Imam Khomeini (RA) in the presence of Hojjatoleslam and Muslimin Mostafa Rostami, the representative of the Supreme Leader at universities. It is noteworthy that during this ceremony, the statement of the country's academics renewing their commitment to the ideals of the late Imam (RA) and the Supreme Leader was read. The text of this statement is as follows:
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
"When the victory of Allah has come and the conquest (has come), and you see the people entering the religion of Allah in multitudes, then glorify the praises of your Lord and ask for His forgiveness; indeed, He is the Accepting of Repentance." (Surah Al-Nasr)
Infinite praise and thanks to the unique God who has bestowed His favor upon us and granted us the unparalleled blessing of the Islamic Revolution, so that we may raise the glorious and dignified flag of 'Allah' as a beacon for the heights of the world's popular movements. While congratulating the blessed days of the month of Rajab, and celebrating the victories and valorous acts of the proud Guardians of the Islamic Revolution in defending the integrity and borders of the Islamic Republic, as well as wishing for the victory of the warriors of the Islamic Resistance Front against the Zionist occupying regime, at the threshold of the 45th spring of the Islamic Revolution, we, the academics of Iran, congratulate the anniversary of the glorious victory of the Islamic Revolution to all the honorable people of Iran, Muslims, and the oppressed worldwide. In this sacred place, we send our greetings to the sublime and celestial spirit of the late Imam (RA) and the always-present martyrs, and we renew our commitment to the ideals of the Islamic Revolution and its great founder, pledging allegiance to the Supreme Leader, Imam Khamenei, that until our last breath and the appearance of the last savior, Mahdi (AS), we will uphold our revolution and the blood of our martyrs. Loudly and with the resonant call of 'Allahu Akbar,' we declare: 1- The valuable ideals of the late Imam and the Islamic Revolution arise from the lofty and human-building teachings of the Qur'an and the Prophet's family, and they will never be overshadowed by the dust of time. Certainly, the guidance of his rightful successor will be the same. Therefore, we will consider the wise leader's guidance in all strategic, political, social, and cultural aspects as a fundamental part of our being, and by reflecting on the valuable experiences of the Islamic Revolution's history, we will expedite the path to the dignity, honor, advancement, and independence of our dear nation.
2- The usurping Zionist regime, which, supported by the criminal United States, despite its disgraceful defeat against the resistance front of Hamas and Yemen's storm of Al-Aqsa, has taken the unrelenting massacre of the oppressed people of Gaza, especially women and children, upon itself in cowardice and humiliation, should know that the free nations of the world, especially the Muslim nations of the West Asia region, including Syria, Yemen, Lebanon, Iraq, and Iran, relying on God and hopeful for the young and brave warriors of the resistance front, will inflict a heavy defeat on those criminals, just as in the 33-day and 8-day wars. 3- We, the academics, will utilize all our scientific and knowledge-based capacity along with our intellectual and theoretical strengths to defend the rights of the oppressed and powerful people of Palestine in international forums, and we will not hesitate to use any means and media to clarify the crimes, genocide, and child murder, especially the attacks on hospitals and educational centers in Gaza.
4- We, the academics, with regard to the four key strategies of the Supreme Leader for the elections (participation, competition, integrity, and security), and with the belief that elections bring transformation and support the Republic and Islam of the system, emphasize the need for synergy among all academics to ensure maximum participation in the elections of the Islamic Consultative Assembly and the Assembly of Experts for Leadership. We believe that academics, especially esteemed professors as a reference class, will create the ground for diverse sectors of the public to participate in the voting process through due diligence in educating the public and correctly narrating the accomplishments of the Islamic system against the cognitive and perceptual war of the enemy. We believe that the solution to overcome the issues and problems of the nation and reach the peaks of advancement is the participation of the entire nation in the elections, and religious democracy guarantees this enormous public movement.
5- We believe that the only path to advancement and dignity for Islamic Iran is reliance on the Almighty God and the countless capabilities and capacities of the children of greater Iran. We consider all forms of dependency and hope on the East and the West to be a profound degradation and reaffirm that the dignity and pride of our nation and country depend on scientific, cultural jihad, national production, and reliance on the brave and thoughtful students and youth of this land. Therefore, knowing we are nearing the peak, we will strive vigorously to neutralize the enemy's weapon of sanctions through scientific acceleration and the flourishing of a knowledge-based economy.
6- We believe that our universities have the capacity to take on the responsibility of nurturing revolutionary youth in the path of raising divine humans. Therefore, we dedicate all our efforts to nurturing brave, faithful, and revolutionary youth in the second phase of the Islamic Revolution based on the strategies of the Islamic University document and the Second Phase Statement so that, by God's grace, we can become an admirable model for all nations of the world.
7- In conclusion, we send greetings and peace to the lofty and pure spirit of the late Imam and to the martyrs of every era, men, women, and children of all generations in all countries under oppression, to the fallen commanders and heroes, martyrs of the Islamic Revolution, martyrs of the Sacred Defense, martyrs of the Defender of the Shrine, martyrs of security, and martyrs of health. We ask for their support for the glory, dignity, and health of our dear leader, Imam Khamenei, and our powerful country so that we can hand over the great trust of the Islamic Revolution to its rightful owner, Imam Mahdi (AS).
