According to the university's public relations: The water rocket competition in Qom Province was held by the scientific research unit of the student volunteer organization at Qom University of Technology with the participation of 12 teams from universities in Qom Province at this university.
The handmade water rocket competition for students in Qom Province was hosted by Qom University of Technology as part of empowering the scientific and research capabilities of students, organized into 12 teams of two or three members from universities in Qom Province.
It is worth mentioning that in this competition, students built their handmade water rockets using empty soda bottles, cardboard, paint, and fabric parachutes which they launched by injecting compressed air.
At the end of this festival the creators of the rockets with the longest flight time were honored.
The winners of this competition are as follows:
First place: Mr. Seyed Hamzeh Mousavi, winner of ten million rials
Second place: Messrs. Mohammad Hossein Ghali Zadeh and Amir Hossein Jandaghian, winners of five million rials
Third place: Messrs. Amir Mohammad Ebrahimi and Ismail Kazempour, winners of two million rials
It is notable that the first to third place winners of this competition are students from Qom University of Technology.
