According to the public relations of the university: Qom Industrial University achieved the 13th national rank in holding skill enhancement courses in 2021.
According to the annual report from the Vice Presidency for Research and Technology of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, Qom Industrial University succeeded in attaining the 13th national rank in conducting skill enhancement courses in 2021 among universities, research institutes, and higher education centers in the country.
Despite the outbreak of the coronavirus over the past two years, thanks to the efforts of student scientific associations and the Office of Industry Relations, the implementation of skill enhancement courses at Qom Industrial University has been quite successful. Last year, 98 skill enhancement courses were held, with 90 of them conducted virtually.
Additionally, in line with training effective and efficient specialized personnel, the organization of these courses has been conducted in accordance with the needs of the job market through appropriate interactions between the university and industry.
To make the skill enhancement courses more effective, the Office of Industry Relations and Entrepreneurship at Qom Industrial University, by developing an executive guideline for the internship program, has managed to create job opportunities during students' studies, along with the necessary training provided by industries for students. With the approval of the university's education council, this office has organized 24-hour engineering standard courses free of charge, specifically for applicants for the internship unit in the summer of 2021, aiming to familiarize students with the standards relevant to their fields.
