The education at Qom University of Technology is currently taking place online.

According to the Public Relations of the university; Dr. Heydari, the Vice President for Education and Research at Qom University of Technology, stated that the transition from in-person to online education is still ongoing. He outlined the actions taken in that department as follows:
1. Continuing the educational and research activities of the university based on the policies issued by the esteemed Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology, taking into account all preventive measures to minimize interruptions in the university's educational and research calendar.
2. Conducting non-in-person educational classes: Starting from March 10, 2019, the possibility of holding university classes in a virtual format has been made available. The link to access virtual classes is provided on the university's website, and students can enter the virtual classroom through the relevant link according to their course registration schedule.
3. Planning to establish remedial classes for subjects that cannot be taught online for any reason at the beginning of the upcoming year and continuing the academic semester.
4. The digitization of all educational processes at the university: It is possible to carry out all processes and educational requests of students electronically through the portal, and students are strongly advised to avoid in-person visits for submitting requests due to the outbreak of the coronavirus.
5. Strong recommendations to experts and managers in the educational and research department to respond promptly and thoroughly to the calls and emails of professors and students to facilitate the affairs of the clientele, alongside planning for minimal attendance of experts to protect their health.
6. Cancellation of all in-person meetings to ensure the health and safety of the members.
7. Conducting the committee meeting for the promotion of faculty members non-in-person with the participation of all members.
8. Holding non-in-person meetings of the laboratory council to purchase and utilize funds specified in Clause H of Note 4 of the budget law to support Shaya.
9. Making the necessary arrangements for holding non-in-person and video-conferencing meetings of the Education and Research Council if necessary.
10. Disinfecting the environment of the university's central library.
11. Strong recommendations to the experts in the Education and Research department to use masks and gloves in the workplace.
12. Enabling the submission of research requests from professors and students electronically, coordinated with the relevant experts and managers.
In conclusion, Dr. Heydari added that interaction between professors and students is maintained through virtual classes, expressing hope that students would make the most of the conditions made available.
