Initiation of the Health Monitoring Program for New Incoming Students of the Bachelor's and Master's Degrees at Qom University of Technology
According to the university's public relations office: The health monitoring program at Qom University of Technology will be held for all new incoming students in the bachelor's and master's degrees.
Dr. Jafar Ghanbari, the Deputy for Student Affairs and Cultural Affairs at the university, stated that the purpose of this program is to achieve a profile of students' physical and mental health based on evaluated data and medical examinations. He also mentioned that at the end, the collected information will be sent to the Ministry of Science's Counseling and Health Office.
He pointed out that the health monitoring program for the physical and mental well-being of new incoming students this year, just as in previous years, will be conducted for all students entering in 95-96 across all educational levels, and stated: This program will take place in two phases of health monitoring concerning physical-health and mental health assessment of newly arriving students over a two-month period.
Dr. Ghanbari elaborated on the health program, stating that in this program, questionnaires will be provided to students, examining aspects such as physical and psychological health, dietary habits, and the medical history of the students, and if necessary, they will be referred to the physician and counselor at the university's counseling and health center.
The Cultural and Student Affairs Office of the university emphasized that the participation of new incoming students in this program is mandatory for the registration of information in their student files, and non-participation in this program will result in students facing limitations in accessing welfare services. He reiterated: We advise all new students to participate in this program according to the announced two-month schedule and not to postpone their opportunity to participate until the last days of this important implementation.
