(First Academic Improvement Workshop at Qom University of Technology)
The first academic improvement workshop, organized by the university's counseling center, was held on Tuesday, September 20, 1391, from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM in the university's amphitheater, with the presence of Engineer Moghaddam, the director of the university's planning and program management, who has over a decade of executive experience in education and academic improvement.
He initially pointed out that today's society is rapidly moving towards a post-industrial world, stating: "In the post-industrial world, education is conducted through self-learning. The most important factor in this transition is the individual's motivation. Among the strategies to enhance motivation are: imagining success, wishing for it, thinking, wanting, burning passion, hope in God, and acting upon one’s desires, and ultimately success will be within your reach."
He regarded another factor of success and academic improvement as pre-reading newspapers and generating questions in the mind before teaching. In addition, cohesive planning, self-learning, and self-belief play the roles of catalysts for success and will shorten the path to achieving goals. To this end, the academic counseling and planning group at the university intends to conduct semi-private and specialized sessions for each field to prepare the necessary prerequisites for students' academic improvement. Interested individuals can refer to the university’s counseling unit for more information and to register for this program.
