Announcement No. 1 from the Nutrition Department regarding Student Meals - Academic Year 1404-1403
We would like to extend our congratulations and warm welcome to esteemed students on the beginning of the academic year. The Nutrition Department's plan for the new academic year is announced as follows.
🔰 To reserve meals at any of the main and supplemental restaurants, you must use the student portal at https://erp.qut.ac.ir and then proceed to the Nutrition Affairs to charge your account and reserve your meal.
🔰 Student Meal Rates:
🔹 The meal rates for students, as per the announcement from the Student Welfare Fund, are as follows for low-cost, medium-cost, and high-cost meals: 75,000, 120,000, and 150,000 Rial, respectively, during regular years.
🔹 For additional years, the meal rates for first and second semesters will be twice that of regular students, for the third and fourth semesters, three times the rates for regular students, and for any additional semester beyond four, five times the regular student rates.
🔹 The meal rates for international students in regular years will be double the aforementioned amounts, and in additional years, will be equal to the cost price of the meals.
🔹 The selling price for surplus meals at the main restaurant is, respectively for low-cost, medium-cost, and high-cost meals: 100,000, 150,000, and 200,000 Rial.
🔰 Hours and Location for Lunch Distribution:
🔹 Central University Restaurant: from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM (sales day from 1:30 PM to 1:45 PM) 🔹 Female Dormitory: from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM (sales day from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM) 🔹 Male Dormitory: from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM (sales day from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM) 🔹 Supplemental Restaurant (University Buffet): from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM
🔰 Hours and Location for Dinner and Breakfast Distribution:
🔹 Female Dormitory: from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM (sales day from 7:00 PM to 7:15 PM) 🔹 Male Dormitory: from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM (sales day from 9:00 PM to 9:15 PM)
✅ Meal distribution is only possible within the specified time frames, and outside these times, the food delivery system will be closed.
✅ Breakfast reservation and distribution: Reserved breakfast each day will be distributed along with dinner on the same day for consumption the next day. For example, the breakfast reserved on Sunday will be distributed with Sunday’s dinner for consumption on Monday. (In other words, the day you need breakfast must be reserved the day before and collected with dinner). It should be noted that breakfast meant for Saturday should be reserved for the previous Wednesday. For the Wednesday breakfast, there are two options available for reservation: 1 - The option marked with (Hot Distribution), which will be distributed on Saturday from 9 AM to 10 AM in the central university cafeteria. 2 - The option without this marking will be distributed in accordance with the announced schedule on Wednesday evening along with dinner.
✅ The possibility of reserving or canceling meal reservations at the main restaurant exists from 15 days prior to until 2 days before the meal.
✅ The possibility of reserving or canceling meal reservations at the supplemental restaurant exists from 15 days prior to until 1 day before the meal.
✅ Food delivery is solely to the person who made the reservation and requires the presentation of a student ID or (forgetting token only for lunch). Therefore, if you do not have a student ID, please visit the security office as soon as possible.
✅ In the event that a reserved meal is not collected after three instances in each meal period throughout an academic semester, from the fourth instance onwards, in case of reserving a meal and not collecting it, the full cost of that meal will be recorded in the student portal.
✅ Students must bring personal containers for dinner and breakfast. Clearly, the provision of disposable containers is the responsibility of the student.
