Client Services

Providing services to students, researchers, faculty members, and staff includes membership, book lending, reference services, newspapers and publications, and handling the settlement of members and graduates in this section. The key services offered in this area include:

  • Guiding visitors for quick and appropriate access to information and library resources
  • Managing and providing circulation desk services (lending, return, renewal, reservation)
  • Membership services and handling matters related to permanent and temporary members (membership, settlement of accounts, etc.)
  • Responding to reference questions and guiding visitors according to their informational needs
  • Organizing and cataloging informational resources
  • Lending informational resources, according to internal regulations
  • Providing reference services, including: publications, theses, encyclopedias, etc.
  • Collaborating with the resource acquisition department in the selection, evaluation, and discarding of resources
