The university library is an integral part of the educational, research, and investigative system of the university, and the library collection is regarded as the most important source for meeting the informational needs of the university community, containing the latest information in its subject areas. • Acquisition and collection of all resources needed for the university's central library, both print and electronic, aimed at supporting the university's educational and research programs.
  • Selection of informational resources and their prioritization in collaboration with the faculties, whereby any decision-making and coordination regarding resource acquisition takes place in university publications council meetings, and it is implemented in accordance with resource procurement policies and based on the allocated budget.
  • Establishing connections with domestic and international publishers and agents, participating in and purchasing from annual exhibitions, and exchanging or donating books to create a rich and centralized collection. It is noteworthy that collaboration with faculty members and students in acquiring necessary resources, conducting meetings with the educational and research vice presidency, actively and effectively participating in book fairs, and managing all related correspondence are considered key activities of this section.
  • Providing documentation and interlibrary loans, which includes obtaining and fulfilling the informational needs of students and faculty members through other libraries and research centers.
