According to the university's public relations department, the 8th Iranian Conference on Mathematical Physics was successfully held at the Shahid Akhoundi Conference Hall, with 70 participants, 65 presented papers, and a special guest from Japan. Dr. Soleimani, the Deputy Chancellor for Education and Research at Qom University of Technology, stated that the conference focuses on the mathematical analysis of physics and engineering problems, as well as the development of various mathematical methods to investigate diverse physical phenomena. In essence, mathematical physics provides a broad foundation for theoretical physics and can thus play a predictive role in addressing various issues. He added that Qom University of Technology serves as the permanent secretariat for this conference and that, each year, the conference is held by carefully selecting the best papers in the field of mathematical physics through rigorous reviews. The best papers presented at this conference are also selected for publication in the 'Transactions in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics' journal. Dr. Latifi, the scientific secretary of the conference, remarked that the scientific level of the papers has significantly improved compared to previous years. More than 20 presenters were faculty members from renowned universities across the country."
