Electoral process for the Presidency of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering was held virtually on Saturday, 21/04/1399, with the participation of all faculty members of this faculty.
According to the university's public relations report; in a session held virtually to elect the president of the newly established Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Dr. Mohammad Fadaei was elected for this position with the highest number of votes among the three candidates. At the end of this virtual session, Dr. Rezaei Noor, the university president, confirmed the appointment of Dr. Fadaei and congratulated him, and also appreciated the participation of other candidates as well as the 100% participation of faculty members in this election and their serious attention to their destiny. He also emphasized the necessity of close interaction between the faculty president and the faculty members, staff, and students, and the establishment of a participatory management style, utilizing collective wisdom in decision-making. The development of the metallurgy program at the undergraduate level and the engineering physics program at the undergraduate level were also highlighted as additional priorities for the presidency of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering moving forward.
It is worth mentioning that according to the executive regulations, the selection of directors and deputies falls under the authority of the university president, and based on this, with the opinion of Dr. Rezaei Noor, the selection of department directors and faculty presidents at Qom University of Technology is conducted through an election system and voting. Adopting this method of faculty members' participation in selecting managers and faculty presidents has led to a creation of enthusiasm, motivation, and better interaction among faculty colleagues in advancing the university's goals.
