According to the public relations of the university: On the occasion of commemorating the arrival of the days of Allah during the decade of Fajr and the forty-first anniversary of the glorious Islamic Revolution, as well as the fortieth day after the passing of General Qasem Soleimani, a ceremony was held with the presence of a number of staff and professors of Qom University of Technology, organized by the Office of the Representative of the Supreme Leader at the university, the Cultural Management, and the employees' Basij in the Shahid Akhundi conference hall of this university.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Dr. Rezai Noor, while referring to the role of unity and trust among the people in the formation of the glorious Islamic system, stated: All major revolutions around the world have been established through the unity and camaraderie of the people, and our country has also benefited from this blessing and was able to, through unity and trust in 1979, permanently eradicate the roots of discord from the country and establish a great revolution and a governorship based on leadership on the seat of justice.
He added: Higher than any developmental action in the university, unity and camaraderie among the staff of the institution is the most important advantage in advancing goals, which can be referred to as social capital.
The president of Qom University of Technology emphasized: According to the plans made and with the cooperation and efforts of the university staff, it is hoped that by 2025, Qom University of Technology will rank among the ten top industrial universities in the country and also be one of the 20 top universities in the national rankings.
Dr. Rezai Noor, emphasizing the statements of the Supreme Leader in the second step of the revolution and paying attention to the role and importance of universities in influencing society, clarified: Considering the second step of the revolution declaration, our role in the field of progress will not be limited to the university environment; rather, influencing society is one of the roles and missions defined for us.
He added: We are striving to transform into a model of an Islamic university at the national level and also a civilization-building university, taking into account the points mentioned in the second step of the revolution declaration.
Further in this ceremony, Hojjat al-Islam wal-Muslimin Dr. Qorbani Mobin, the representative of the Supreme Leader at the university, also congratulated the arrival of the days of Allah during the decade of Fajr and also expressed condolences on the fortieth day of the passing of General Qasem Soleimani, emphasizing the role of the people in shaping the revolution, saying: This revolution and system belongs to the people, as the great movement of the people was revolutionary, which managed to change the base of the country's governance from a dictatorship and oppression-centered system to one centered on the people and the leadership.
He added: Leadership is considered an Islamic model for governance, which fundamentally arises from the people in order to continue its path close to the people.
The representative of the Supreme Leader at the university pointed out: Although problems have arisen in the process of forming this glorious Islamic system due to the shortcomings of some officials, a notable point in the formation of this system is that the basis of this Islamic governance is established on divine leadership.
Hojjat al-Islam wal-Muslimin Dr. Qorbani Mobin, concluding his remarks, referred to the impact of the martyrdom of General Qasem Soleimani, stating: The martyrdom of this brave and courageous commander of the resistance front infused new life into the veins of the glorious Islamic revolution and caused the people's love for leadership and the system to double.
The speech by Colonel Kazemi, one of the comrades of martyrs General Qasem Soleimani during the 8 years of the Sacred Defense war, and also the recitation of elegies were among the other programs of this ceremony.
At the end of this ceremony, a number of staff honored Dr. Jalal Rezai Noor for his efforts as the president of Qom University of Technology.
