The growth of ISI and Scopus article statistics, the rise in patents registered by professors and students, the establishment of the first shared workspace in the province, and so on are the results of attention to research in the university.
The president of the Industrial University of Qom stated: The establishment of a high-speed computing center, a twofold increase in laboratory and workshop spaces, an increase in library books, the launch of a digital library, the setup of a startup empowerment club (Beta) are all driving forces strengthening research, which professors and students should utilize to the best of their abilities.
Furthermore, Hojjatoleslam Dr. Ghorbani Mobin, the representative of the Supreme Leader's office at the university, considered the main need of the country at this moment to be research and inquiry and added: Morality and spirituality must accompany knowledge and research to shape the growth and advancement of humanity.
Dr. Heydari, the educational and research deputy of the university, announced the growth of professors' articles, the increase in research contracts, and the rise in patents registered by professors, indicating the academic and research growth of the Industrial University of Qom.
At the end, the top researchers of the university were honored. Dr. Mahnaz Mohammadi, Dr. Mohammad Karimi, and Mehrzad Ghurbani were recognized as the first to third researchers in the Faculty of Basic Sciences.
Dr. Saeed Hosseinzadeh, Dr. Mahbubeh Shamsi, and Dr. Mehdi Bakrani were acknowledged as the top three researchers in the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
Dr. Mohammad Fadaei was selected as the first researcher, Dr. Beitollah Badrlou as the second researcher, and Dr. Mohsen Mohammadi and Dr. Abdolreza Karimi as the third researchers in the Faculty of Technical and Engineering.
Also, Dr. Seyed Mohammad Dehghan was honored as the top technologist of the province, Dr. Jafar Ghambari as the university's top technologist, and Dr. Mojtaba Heydari as the university's top innovator.
In the field of student researchers, Davood Hajitqi Tehran and Ali Allahiari and Ehsan Badfar were honored.
