Service Title: Internship Commencement

Organization: Qom University of Technology

  1. Introduction

University internships are one of the most important stages of academic education, enabling students to apply their theoretical knowledge in real-world environments. This practical experience helps students become familiar with the workplace, encounter professional challenges and opportunities related to their field of study, and expand their professional networks. Internships not only strengthen students’ self-confidence and professional competencies but also allow them to closely observe current processes and technologies within their target industries. Ultimately, this experience can assist students in making informed career decisions and selecting appropriate professional paths.

  1. Objective

The purpose of this service is to introduce students to a company or industrial unit in order to complete their internship period from start to finish. All required steps are defined in a step-by-step manner, with a specified time frame assigned to each step.

  1. Responsibility

The Office of Industry Relations at Qom University of Technology is responsible for reviewing internship commencement requests. Upon verification and confirmation that the application is complete, the office approves the request so that the student can download the official introduction letter from the university portal and submit it, together with the attendance form, to the internship workplace.

  1. Service-Related Commitments

The commitments between the student and the Office of Industry Relations generally include the following:

Student Commitments (Service Recipient)

  1. Request Procedure
  • The student must submit the request electronically, including complete and accurate details in accordance with the university’s internship regulations, to the Office of Industry Relations.
  • If necessary, the student must attach all required documents and supporting materials.
  1. Response Timeframe
  • The student must adhere to the specified response period (14 working days) for replying to requests and correspondence. In case of delay, the reason must be provided in writing.
  1. Service Provision Requirements
  • The student must provide all required information and documents accurately and completely.
  • If any changes to the request are needed, the student must coordinate with the Office of Industry Relations.
  1. Other Commitments
  • Compliance with all applicable regulations related to the provided service.
  • Protection and confidentiality of sensitive information related to industrial projects.

Commitments of the Office of Industry Relations (Organization)

  1. Response Procedure
  • The Office of Industry Relations must respond to student requests within the specified time period (14 working days). In case of delay, the reason must be communicated to the student.
  1. Service Provision
  • Providing consultation and guidance regarding matters related to the student’s request.
  1. Other Commitments
  • Safeguarding students’ personal information and project-related data and preventing unauthorized disclosure.
  1. Service-Related Data

The student is required to submit personal information along with details of the internship location to the Office of Industry Relations by completing the relevant form in the system.

  1. Costs and Payments

This service is free of charge.

  1. Dispute Resolution Process

In the event of a dispute between the service recipient and the organization, the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology shall act as the authority for dispute resolution.

  1. Validity Period

This agreement has unlimited validity.
