Conditions for Student Dormitory Allocation

The criteria for dormitory allocation and the associated scoring system are determined by the university based on available facilities and the following priorities:

1- Dormitory accommodation is allocated to non-local "Day-program" (state-funded) students who are enrolled in the minimum required academic credits (12 units) in accordance with academic regulations, subject to capacity availability and within the permissible duration of housing eligibility.

2- Dormitory accommodation is not allocated to local, visiting, transfer, or "extended-tenure" students (those exceeding the standard duration of study).

Note 1: Allocation to local, visiting, transfer, and extended-tenure students is permissible if there is vacant capacity, subject to the decision of the Dormitory Affairs Council.

3- Dormitory accommodation is allocated to international students in accordance with relevant laws and regulations, subject to vacant capacity and the decision of the Dormitory Affairs Council.

4- Dormitory accommodation is not allocated to students with outstanding dormitory fee debts.

5- Dormitory accommodation is not allocated to graduates, students who have abandoned their studies or been expelled, or students whose academic affiliation with the university has been interrupted for any reason (e.g., academic leave of absence, disciplinary suspension, etc.).

6- Dormitory accommodation is not allocated to students with disciplinary records who have failed to observe dormitory rules and regulations, subject to the decision of the Dormitory Affairs Council.
