Chapter One: An Excerpt from the Regulations for Maintaining Islamic Etiquette in Universities

-Male and female students are required to sit in separate rows during classes.

Note: Whenever it is possible to separate classes for women and men in a university without causing budgetary issues or problems in the quality of education, the classes should be separate.

-In areas of movement and announcement boards in universities, if there is a possibility of congestion, separate areas for women and men should be considered.

-It is necessary for male and female students to use laboratories, workshops, dissection halls, computer rooms, etc., separately and, if possible, during specific times.

-Male and female students are required to work in separate groups for student group projects, designs, practical work, and similar tasks, unless separating them leads to a change in the work or its cancellation.

-Universities should take measures to prevent unnecessary mixing of women and men in administrative environments, ensuring that this does not disrupt or halt operations.

-Male supervisors should utilize male secretaries.

-In areas of universities where most visitors are men (such as dormitories), it is necessary to employ male staff, whereas in areas with female visitors, female staff should be used.

-Public areas such as reading rooms, libraries, dormitories, and dining halls must be separate for women and men or use separate schedules for each gender.

-Relations between professors, students, and staff should conform to university regulations and Islamic moral guidelines. If anyone observes a violation, they should remind the offenders based on the principle of preventing wrongdoing, and if their reminder is ineffective, they should report the matter to the responsible authorities of the university.

-Women in work and study environments must observe Islamic dress code and refrain from wearing tight and revealing clothing, as well as avoid excessive makeup and adornment. Men should also avoid wearing inappropriate clothing.

-The responsibility for implementing these regulations will fall to the presidents of universities and higher education institutes, who can address violations with the help of disciplinary committees or investigating boards.
