Completion of Studies

The allowable period of study is 10 semesters for Undergraduate students, 6 semesters for Master’s students, and 12 semesters for PhD students.

Undergraduate students, if they do not graduate by the end of the 10th semester or if their graduation date is recorded in the 11th semester, must visit the Military Service Department. After receiving the “Extension of Study Period Letter” (which serves as a one-semester extension of the educational exemption), they must visit a +10 Police Office to obtain the “Approval of Study Extension Letter” and then submit it to the General Education Office.

Graduate students (Master’s and PhD), if they require an extension of their study period, must first obtain “Approval for Study Extension” from the Special Cases Review Council before approaching the General Education Office. After receiving the “Extension of Study Period Letter” from the General Education Office, they must visit a +10 Police Office to obtain the “Approval of Study Extension Letter” and finally submit it to the General Education Office.

It is strongly emphasized that these procedures can only be completed within 3 months after the allowable period of study has ended; after this period, the student will be dismissed from their studies.
