Executive Board of Faculty Recruitment

1. Service Overview

The Executive Board of Faculty Recruitment is responsible for providing services related to faculty recruitment, employment status conversion, evaluation of applicants' academic and general qualifications, and handling appeals in accordance with the resolutions of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, the Higher Board of Faculty Recruitment, and the regulations of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology.

The purpose of these services is to facilitate the faculty recruitment process, improve service quality, ensure transparency throughout the evaluation process, and enhance applicants' satisfaction.


2. Services Provided

The Executive Board of Faculty Recruitment provides the following services:

  • Review of applications for contractual (probationary) faculty recruitment

  • Review of applications for conversion of employment status to Official Trial Appointment

  • Review of applications for conversion of employment status to Permanent Official Appointment

  • Evaluation of applicants' academic and general qualifications

  • Processing appeals and requests for reconsideration


3. Service Procedures

A. Faculty Recruitment (Contractual/Probationary Appointment)

  • Applicant registration through the centralized recruitment call announced by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology

  • Preliminary review of the application by the Academic Competence Committee

  • Selection of qualified applicants and invitation to the academic interview

  • General qualification interview

  • Review by the University's Executive Board of Faculty Recruitment

  • Submission of selected applicants' files to the Central Faculty Recruitment Board of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology

  • Announcement of results through the Mehr Razavi System


B. Conversion to Official Trial Appointment

  • Submission of the application and required documents

  • Preliminary review of the application

  • Registration in the Mehr Razavi System

  • Review by the Cultural Commission

  • Academic competence evaluation

  • General qualification interview

  • Review by the Executive Board of Faculty Recruitment

  • Submission of the application to the Faculty Recruitment Center of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology

  • Issuance of the final approval


C. Conversion to Permanent Official Appointment

  • Submission of the application and required documents

  • Preliminary review of the application

  • Registration in the Mehr Razavi System

  • Review by the Cultural Commission

  • Review by the Selected Committee

  • Review by the Specialized Committee of the Promotion Board

  • General qualification interview

  • Review by the Executive Board of Faculty Recruitment

  • Submission of the application to the Faculty Recruitment Center

  • Issuance of the final approval


4. Commitments of the Executive Board of Faculty Recruitment

  • Reviewing applications in accordance with applicable laws and regulations

  • Ensuring fairness, impartiality, and transparency throughout the evaluation process

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of applicants' information

  • Reviewing applications and providing responses within the specified time frame


5. Applicants' Responsibilities

  • Providing accurate and complete information and supporting documents

  • Regularly monitoring the application status through the Mehr Razavi System


6. Appeals Procedure

  • The Executive Board of Faculty Recruitment is the first authority responsible for reviewing appeals related to faculty recruitment and employment status conversion.

  • Applicants may submit an appeal within 20 days from the date of notification of the decision.

  • Appeals will be reviewed in accordance with the applicable regulations, and the results will be announced through the Mehr Razavi System.
