The Executive Secretariat of the University's Faculty Recruitment Board was established on December 21, 2008 (1 Dey 1387) pursuant to the resolution of the Higher Board of Faculty Recruitment. It commenced its activities under the supervision of the Central Faculty Recruitment Board of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology (MSRT) with the aim of selecting the most qualified faculty members from among recruitment applicants, processing employment status conversion cases, and ensuring consistency in faculty employment procedures.
The Secretariat is responsible for carrying out all executive affairs related to the Faculty Recruitment Board, including the announcement of public recruitment calls, processing applications for faculty employment status conversion, responding to applicants' inquiries, and coordinating all administrative procedures related to faculty recruitment.

Identifying and determining the University's recruitment needs in academic and research departments.
Announcing public calls for faculty recruitment.
Note: Current scholarship recipients are exempt from this provision.
Deciding on the recruitment and employment of faculty members, including contractual appointments, probationary appointments, official trial appointments, permanent official appointments, military service faculty appointments, secondment, and transfer of faculty members, in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations.
Evaluating applicants for faculty positions and educational scholarship candidates with respect to their academic competence and general qualifications.
Supervising the proper implementation of laws and regulations governing faculty recruitment and employment.
Submitting annual reports, as required, to the Central Faculty Recruitment Board of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology.
