  • Are the academic and research points for each stage of status change independent of each other?

According to the resolution 377 of the Supreme Recruitment Board, status changes at each stage are independent of the others, and the academic and research points for each stage relate to the activities of the faculty member during the time of that stage. Therefore, individuals who intend to change status from probationary official to definitive official through the points tables must present scientific and research activities for this stage of the status change, which should occur after the date of their approval for the status change from contractual to probationary official in the University Executive Board (whether through promotion or through the points tables). It should be noted that requests to change status from probationary official to definitive official for individuals whose approval for status change to probationary official in the University Executive Board is after 1401/07/01 will be processed according to this resolution.

  • The minimum duration of full-time employment for faculty members for promotion to any of the ranks of associate professorship and professorship is 4 years.
  • The following cases are not counted towards the minimum duration of full-time employment for faculty members for promotion to a higher rank:
  • Mandatory military service period.
  •  Duration of unpaid leave.
  • Duration of mission that results in the interruption of educational or research activities of the faculty member at the university or mission location.

 

  •  What are the conditions for reducing the duration of tenure for promotion?
  •  The minimum duration of employment for promotion to any of the higher ranks, if one of the following conditions is met, may be reduced by a maximum of one year, conditional on achieving at least the minimum points of clause 2-1 (5 points). (Only once during the period of service)
