The Solid State Physics Laboratory provides students with both theoretical and practical experience in the fundamental concepts of solid-state physics and materials science through a series of laboratory experiments.
The laboratory offers the following experiments:
Photoconductivity Experiment
Hall Effect in Copper and Silver
Ferromagnetism Experiment Using a Magnetic Model
Electrical Conductivity of Solids
Magnetic Hysteresis Loop Measurement in an Iron Core
Magnetic Properties of Materials
Thermoelectric Effect Experiment
Fatigue Testing (Tension, Bending, and Compression)
Hardness Testing
Impact Testing
